In 2017, our founder & CEO, Walter de Oude, had a vision to simplify life insurance.

So he started Singlife – the first new life insurance company in Singapore to be licensed in almost 50 years, which is now one of the largest insurance companies in Singapore. He changed the insurance industry forever. Now he wants to go one step further. He wants to simplify your savings too.

Which is why he has started Chocolate Finance. Because he believes if your money is happy, you’re happy too.

Chocolate Finance is managed by Havenport investments Pte Ltd – a holder of a Capital Markets Services licence pursuant to the Singapore Securities and Futures Act 2001. Havenport are regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Chocolate Finance is delivered through Chocolate Pte Ltd technologies.

Chocolate Pte Ltd’s investors include well known names like Peak XV (previously Sequoia), Prosus, DST, Chocolate Ventures and other leading investors. Chocolate Pte Ltd is a shareholder of Havenport Investments Pte Ltd.
